If you are looking to commission a military painting of your loved ones then we can help. We’ve painted a plethora of different style military paintings, from colonels to World War One heroes to contemporary army portraits. Rest assured we will lovingly hand-paint you a wonderful oil painting that you will be proud to display.
The process is so simple. Choose a photograph that you would like to base the painting on. It could be an old black and white photo or one of your favourite photos and email it to: hello@portraitsfromphotos.net along with the size of portrait that you have in mind. We’ll give you some suggestions and a variety of quotes.
If you choose to proceed we’ll then paint you a beautiful military painting, hand painted using Winsor & Newton oils (they’re the best) onto a high-grade duck cotton canvas. Once completed we will email you a high-resolution photograph of your oil painting for your approval and should you wish your portrait artist to make slight amendments once you’ve seen the portrait then they will be happy to do so. We want you to be thrilled with your painting!
We care! We want you to be thrilled with your military paintings so we won't rush your portrait but we will lovingly hand paint it. Our art studio is based in London and if you have any queries you are always welcome to call us (+44 (0)20 8354 1818) between 9am - 5.30pm or send us over an email. We also wont deliver your painting until you approve it meaning you can request amendments to your painting should you wish to.
As you can see from our Portfolio, our oil paintings are painted to an extremely high standard. We understand that these portraits whether they are commissioned to commemorate a loved one or for posterity are going to be proudly displayed in your home and therefore have to be painted to the highest possible standard using the best materials. That's why we use Winsor & Newton oils (they got their Royal warrant by Queen Victoria in 1841) onto a high grade duck cotton canvas.
We hate paying for something then realising that the price does not include delivery. We therefore won't charge you for delivery, no matter where in the world you live..
